Try these delicious protein rich burger patties, that your whole family will be sure to enjoy
INGREDIENTS
1 pack Green Moong Dhal, cooked to instructions, reducing the amount of water from 4 cups to 3 cups
1 cup gluten free self raising flour
4 tbsp tomato paste
½ cup gluten-free bread crumbs
PREPARATION
Cook Green Moong Dhal per pack instructons and let cool. In a large mixing bowl add gluten-free flour, tomato paste and mix thoroughly to a dough like texture. Gently fold through bread crumbs, and then form into patty's. They should yield approx 16 patties, depending on your preferred size!
Fry in a pan with a little olive oil until golden on each side.
Serve burgers in your favourite roll with salad ingredients, vegan mayonnaise and tomato sauce.

TIP: Once you have formed the dough into patties, cover with baking paper and freeze for up to 3 months. When you're ready to eat them, simply fry them, no need to thaw
